CENTRAL TEXAS COCKROACH TREATMENT

Cockroach Control

Cockroaches are built to hide. They can settle behind appliances, beneath sinks, inside cabinets, wall voids and other tight spaces throughout your home or business. Mango Mango Pest Pro uses focused cockroach-control solutions designed to target active infestations and the conditions helping them stick around.

If You’re Seeing One, There May Be More

A single cockroach can be a sign of hidden activity nearby. Roaches are drawn to food, moisture and shelter, and they can squeeze into small spaces that are difficult to reach with household sprays and traps.

Mango Mango Pest Pro starts by identifying the cockroach species, finding where activity is concentrated and looking for the conditions supporting it. From there, we build a targeted treatment plan designed to control the current problem and help make your property less inviting to future activity.

Common Cockroaches in Central Texas

German Cockroaches

German cockroaches are small, light brown roaches commonly found in kitchens, bathrooms and other areas where food and moisture are easy to find. They reproduce quickly and often hide around appliances, cabinets, plumbing and tight cracks.

American Cockroaches

Often called water bugs, American cockroaches are large, reddish-brown roaches that prefer warm, damp environments. They may enter through drains, plumbing openings, crawl spaces and gaps around the exterior of a structure.

Oriental Cockroaches

Oriental cockroaches are dark, shiny roaches commonly associated with cool, damp areas. They may show up around drains, crawl spaces, utility rooms and other places where moisture collects.

Smokybrown Cockroaches

Smokybrown cockroaches are frequently found outdoors around trees, gutters, woodpiles and landscaping. They can make their way indoors through rooflines, vents, windows and other openings, sometimes becoming active in attics and upper levels.

Florida Wood Cockroach

Often referred to as a palmetto bug.

Signs You May Have a Cockroach Problem

  • Live cockroaches, especially during the daytime
  • Droppings that resemble pepper or coffee grounds
  • Egg cases inside cabinets, drawers or hidden corners
  • Shed skins near appliances, plumbing or storage areas
  • A persistent musty or oily odor
  • Dark smears along walls, baseboards or cabinet edges
  • Recurring activity around sinks, drains or pet food

Why Do Cockroaches Keep Coming Back?

Cockroaches don’t need much to survive. Small amounts of food, moisture and shelter can keep them active while they remain hidden inside cracks, cabinets, appliances and wall voids. Egg cases can also stay concealed even after the roaches you see have been eliminated.

DIY sprays and traps may knock down visible activity without reaching the places where cockroaches are hiding. Professional control takes a broader approach—identifying the species, treating the areas they’re using and addressing the conditions that are helping the infestation continue.
